Your First Join

What happens when you log in for the first time and where to go next.

Before you join

You must be whitelisted before you can connect. If you have not been approved yet, see Server Whitelist first.

You must also install Cobblemon 1.7.3 on Fabric. Our connection guide walks through Modrinth and manual setup.

What happens on first join

The first time you join Midnight Snack Survival, you are teleported to the starter spawn hub. This keeps new players in a safe spot while they get oriented.

You also receive a Server Guide Book automatically on that first join. After the one-time teleport, you play normally. Your progress, builds, and Cobblemon all stay on the forever map like everyone else.

What to do first

  1. Walk around the hub and read any signs you see.
  2. Open the Guide Book, or run /help / /menu for the help hub. If you lose the book, reclaim it with /guide.
  3. Claim land before you build. See Chunk Claiming.
  4. Check the shop and economy basics when you are ready to sell or buy.
  5. Link Discord if you want cross-chat and rank sync. See Linking Discord.
