What is Midnight Snack Survival?

A casual, whitelist Cobblemon SMP built as a forever world. No scheduled wipes, grief protection, and a cozy pace for late-night play. Read more on the home page.

Is it free to play? Is there pay-to-win?

Joining is free. You need a legal Minecraft Java copy and the free Cobblemon mod. There is no pay-to-win requirement to enjoy the server.

Do I need a whitelist?

Yes. The server is whitelist-only. Minecraft will reject the connection until staff approve your request on Discord.

How do I get whitelisted?
  1. Join our Discord and verify.
  2. Run /requestwhitelist <your Minecraft username> (exact Java username).
  3. Wait for staff approval. It can take a little while.

What version and mods do I need?

Recommended: install via the Modrinth App. Bedrock is not supported.

What is the server IP?

Add this under Multiplayer once you are approved and Cobblemon launches:

Why can’t I connect?
  • You may not be whitelisted yet. Check Discord.
  • Confirm you launch 1.21.1 Fabric with Cobblemon 1.7.3.
  • Ask staff on Discord if you are stuck after approval.
Do you wipe the map?

No scheduled wipe seasons. This is a forever map. Build like you mean to stay.

Is griefing allowed? How do I protect my base?

Griefing is not allowed. Use chunk claiming to protect builds. Staff can review block and chest logs when needed. See chunk claiming and other guides.

Are hacked clients or X-ray allowed?

No. Hacked clients, X-ray, duping, and exploits are banned. QoL mods like Sodium, Lithium, minimaps, and Litematica (ghost mode) are generally fine. Details live in the rules guides under Guides.

How do economy and claiming work?

Player economy, markets, and claiming are documented on the site. Start at Guides, including economy basics and chunk claiming.

How do I link Discord in-game?

Whitelist and Discord linking are separate. After you can join the server, follow Linking Discord.

Where are rules, commands, and the live map?
How do I report a problem or rule break?

Open a ticket or message staff on Discord. Include what happened, where, and roughly when so logs can be checked.
