What it is
Skyblock gives you a personal island in a dedicated dimension. You can invite members, expand the border, unlock biomes and type upgrades, place island spawners, and level island skills.
Open the island hub from Help Menu Shortcuts or with /island / /is.
How to start
- Run
/island(or/is) to open the island menu. - Create your island with
/island createor the create button in the menu. - Teleport home with
/island home. - Invite friends with
/island invite <player>, then manage roles from the menu. - Build a cobble generator with the starter lava and ice (plus dirt, saplings, seeds, and food from starter loot).
Your first island starts at side length 50. You can own 1 island.
Skills
Island skills level up from play on your island. Check progress and unlocks from the island menu.

Daily island skill XP is capped at 10,000. Presence XP pauses if you stand still too long.
Skill unlocks include mining and farming bonuses, better island spawners, void rescue, night vision, island flight, and keep inventory on the island. Higher levels unlock stronger bonuses.
Upgrades
Open Upgrades in the island menu (owner or co-owner).
Size
Expand raises your island border side length. Current expand path:

You can also run /island expand when the next tier is available.
Biomes
Unlock and switch island biomes from the upgrades menu. Prices vary by biome (plains is free, others cost money).
Type upgrades
Unlock Cobblemon type progress for island spawners (Normal, Fire, Water, and the other types). Each type has upgrade levels that improve the species pool and spawn settings.
Island spawners
Place type spawners from the island menu once you have unlocked that type. How many you can place per type grows with island size (more room at 200, 400, 600, and 700).
Limits
- Chunk claiming does not protect the islands dimension. Island borders handle protection there.
- Falling too far triggers void rescue back to safety when you have that Presence unlock.
- Island reset is limited to once per 24 hours. Read the confirm prompts before you wipe progress.
- Leave an island you joined with
/island leave. Owners use transfer or reset flows from the menu when they need a clean start.
